About these guides
Hi, I am Victor Humenhuk. I built these study guides for myself while I was preparing for the IAPP and AI-governance exams - and they are the notes that helped me score well. I have since tidied them up and made them free, so you can study the same way.
Why I made them
When I sat the CIPP/E and AIGP exams I did not want to re-read hundreds of pages the night before. I wanted the material compressed into what the exam actually tests, studied through active recall, spaced retrieval and the exact wording the questions like to reuse. So I wrote my own notes, drilled myself with practice questions, and kept refining what worked. It paid off in my results, and these guides are that same material cleaned up for everyone else.
How they work
- The study notes are free. Every topic is here, structured around active recall and spaced retrieval.
- The practice question bank is optional and paid - one single payment for lifetime access, including the full official practice exam. That is what keeps the project running.
- One account works across all of my guides (the CIPP/E guide and the AIGP guide), and your progress syncs across your devices.
Who I am
I work in risk and compliance (currently at AustralianSuper) and I founded TimeToTest, a UK Community Interest Company. Before that I was at LSEG, Revolut and FitXR. I hold an LLM in International Commercial and Technology Law from the University of Manchester and completed the Oxford AI Ethics, Regulation and Compliance Programme at Said Business School, University of Oxford.
I am certified as CIPP/E, CIPP/U and AIGP (IAPP), PMP (PMI) and CAMS (ACAMS), and I am a member of the IAPP and the Decentralized Identity Foundation. In short, these notes come from someone who has actually sat these exams and builds privacy and AI-governance work for a living.
Independent, and honest about it
These are independent study aids. They are not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by the IAPP, PMI or ACAMS, and all certification marks belong to their respective owners. Please see the full disclaimer and my privacy notice.
